I am often asked by friends what is an easy gluten free desert that they can make me when I visit. I always suggest fresh fruit is an easy option however usually my friends and family want to make me something a bit more exciting so now I have started to suggesting strawberries dipped in chocolate.
It’s delicious, tasty, easy and perfect for someone without gluten free cooking experience to collaborate in 3 easy steps.
What you will need:
Punnet of strawberries, washed
A block of chocolate (220g), broken up into pieces
Method:
1. Place the chocolate in a bowl and melt in the microwave for 1 min, stir chocolate and place in the microwave for longer if required. Be careful not to burn chocolate. Chocolate should be melted and be able to stir easy.
2. Dip washed strawberries into the melted chocolate and place on a tray covered with baking paper.
3. Place tray in the fridge for 20mins or until chocolate is set. ENJOY!!!
